All I have to say is I'm glad I only have a bit over 6 months to get another shot, since the 2010 race is now in May. Should also be interesting to have the grass be green when the ALMS comes back to town.

3. Shot with the 'poor mans' 600 (400 + 1.4x) not tack sharp like the 70-200 but not bad, especially with the lack of AF with the combo.

Good looks. I like the GT2 battle you've got there... nice.

Nick, I know your pour man's combo. I used it last time at Mid Ohio. Tricky, but it works.

I like the 6 and 8. I see they repainted the Mazda with some better contrasting colors. Looks like the 10D is still working well.

Thanks...wish it was a tad sharper...but I suppose I should be happy at 1/15 and only a couple laps where they were close you don't get many shots.

Yeah I had a hard time with the green and white Mazda and the white Deferran Acura, those light colored cars are rough when the sun is out.

The old 10D is still clicking away, it's getting close to time to replace the old girl. I sure could have use a little more usable ISO when it starts getting dark and there are shots you want to get because 1/15 is just so hit or miss...with a whole lot more miss than hit. I probably also should have taken of the 1.4x off of my 70-200 (turn out you can separate them ;) ), once the light starts going away.
