Formula Drift Irwindale

I really struggled with this event. Perhaps it was the lack of shooting options or the stadium lights, but I'm really not happy with how a lot of shots turned out. I was also having focusing issues from the headlights. Here are some of the better ones. Let's hear your comments and critiques please.

I think 7 is a strong image. 8 would be good, but a little too centered.

I agree with Steve and add that I would like #2 with out the bar in the frame and both cars in the shot.

For the most part, if the over all look of these images is your usual "style," I'd say your on the right track. There's a nice look to them.

#2 does nothing for me and #4 would have been stronger were the car not clipped.

What I like most is the slow shutters (something that for the most part a lot of drift shooters haven't figured out yet).. and the way you've used the light. These all have a nice gritty feel to the light, but the colors are good and strong.

I like them.
