I picked a few from my track day two weekends ago with some of my thoughts and looking for C&C. Thanks.

1. Notice the house in the background, something a bit unique to this track that I tried to capture in some shots:

2. Pop-art effect I think works rather well with this shot

3. Again with the house, and again trying to capture some foreground material (the wild grasses):

4. Angle probably exaggerated too much, but trying to show power, motion, and also dabbled in a custom border:

5. This, was very happy how crisp this came out at 1/40 second. Wondering if its past the point of diminishing returns with respect to slow shutters:

Pretty nice shots. I'm not big on the angles. With the house in the background, it's too blurred to be of notice. I've never been there, but there is notihing about it to make me remember the house. If you want to include it, I would suggest making it more of the focus, with a more predominate part of the photo.

Overall, nice panning.

Matt makes a good point about the house. There is a shot at Lime Rock and the house is a bit of a landmark. So, the slow blur is not the hot ticket.

Good illustration John. In your shot you can definitely tell the fact that it is a house and possibly even recognize it, even though it has some blur to it. My examples with the house don't have that same feel. Perhaps my best example of using interesting and unique background to date would be this:

I have other shots that I've since taken down from that same airport, opposite direction, where you can see the airport terminals in the background of the racers.
