Life has been rather weird lately, so I am late in posting to APN, please forgive and enjoy. A 9 Hour enduro at Road Atlanta.

I think I saw you! I was there too. I like the sunrise shot of the Mustang, and the last is a nice classic RA shot. Too bad the skies for the Enduro were so terrible, it was that way almost all day.

I like the watermark although I think it should be in a more stylish font, and bigger as well.

Yes, I was one of the other 2 idiots running around in the cold and gloom that day. I have seen many of your shots on the NASA forum, good work.

Hey thanks! I bet you are a comic sans fan, right? They are pulling straight from my photoshelter account. Really original comment though, never heard anyone else use it.

Thanks. Yep, I felt like an idiot out there when the green flag dropped, it was so cold, that even my hand warmers could not stay warm. I am just glad my hands did not stick to the metal barrel of the lens.

Are you going to come back for many other NASA events, the other guy that was there got a little grumpy and won't be back.

I have a pair of wide receiver gloves that keep my hands warm but still allow fine movements. Just have to get used to how sticky they are.

Do you mean the ColorTechSouth Guy? Henry?

If that is his name, there was some dispute between him and the organizers, and it led to what I would call unprofessional behavior.

I have a pair of gloves now, that I cut the finger tips out of, and I think that they will help my cold weather shooting next time. That and extra batteries, that cold was killer on my batteries, and led to rookie mistakes. :o

Was he wearing a blue jacket with a logo on the back? Prolly was him. What happened? How can you get into an argument at a NASA race? Geesh!

Old school trick is to keep some batteries on your pants pockets, body heat keeps them warm.

It had something to do with setting up a vendor booth inside the chalet during the banquet on Saturday, but there just wasn't room, the place was packed, words were exchanged and I think he was frustrated, and IMO he let it get to him too much, and some unprofessional actions resulted. I just don't see getting ticked off at the event organizers, might make it tough to get access to their events in the future.

Thanks for the tips about the batteries, I will keep that in mind next time.

Hey, use whatever you want, try Olde English. I just don't get it why people choose to wreck decent photos by putting their logo watermark across the middle of the shot.

Because those are pulling straight form my photoshelter account and I can either have them off for all images or on for all images. I'd rather not have them either, but its too easy for someone to PS out a tiny © line.
