Pretty quiet in here. Cold in Chicago. So here are some images from the warm summer. Testing post processing in LR2. Comments welcome.

Hi John, thanks for brightening up a grey old English winter's day with some thoughts of summer!:)
Might be my eyes or my monitor or the colour of the grass but the first few seem a little yellow and the last few seem a little blue.
#1 and #5 are my favourites.

Seem to be over-saturated and over sharpened. Might be color levels messing up the saturation since green is shifting here and there.

Thank you for the input. Just started using LR and need to get the "feel" of it. Reviewed other images from the day the 1st five were shot and alot of the grass was "off" color. Not sure what that is. Last 3 I definitely pushed the saturation too far. Over sharpening I think was a combo of using LR export with high sharpen for screen and downsized them using Flickr's built in resizer. They don't seem to look bad full size as posted on Flickr under john300sl user name. Have a look if you like. One of these days I'll get my post processing dialed in.
Is the cropping and or composition any good?
Once again, Thank you for your input.
John

I've so far avoided the LR export sharpening. I just don't trust auto sharpening yet but that's more a reflection on me than the abilities of the software!
Cropping and composition look good to me John, although no. 7 is a bit tight at the rear for my liking.

I have been messing around with the new LR3 Beta...and am not impressed with the editing inside LR. I much prefer ACR, to me, and my workflow, it is easier. I know that sounds nuts, since they are both from Adobe.
A few of them look like the WB is off, and there are a couple that are a little soft on focus. #5 is the best in the group IMO.
