Not sure how this happened, but i'm sure it's not good for the aerodynamics. :)

Sweet someone got this!
I was watching the race, the GT40 took the exit of a corner the just a little to wide and collected this signage, not sure how long it stayed on but it made for a good laugh and extra advertising for FFF!

I want to say it was on the exit of a left hand corner so maybe T3 or T5.

I saw it on TV ini the Mazda tent. I'm never around when stuff like this happens. My bad.

I actually got several frames coming toward me when he was trying to shed it off on the grass. Problem was, I was shooting at 200mm and 1/15 of a second. A little soft. LOL

How many times have you been setting up for the shot you want, perfect focal length and shutter speed for a magnificent pan, and an incident like this happens?

Obviously, not as many for me, but when it does it's certainly an arrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhh moment.

I seem to remember reading somewhere there's a button you can press on the 1D Mk III that changes all the cameras settings immediately to a predescribed set. I keep meaning to investigate this.

So say for example you are shooting on 1/15 and something kicks off in front of you, you can press a button and the camera immediately switches to say 1/500 to capture the action.

Anyone know of this? In the mean time, I'll dig out my manual again.
