Well, my MK III developed a problem with a couple function buttons during Sebring. It was all of 3 weeks old when it started to act up. Fortunately, it was only the "-" button causing most of the problems as the camera still functioned properly. I was starting to have my doubts about Canon quality though.

I contacted Canon CPS last Friday and sent it in and they got it on Monday. By Tuesday evening, it was at Fedex in NJ and delivered today. Being only a Sliver member, I was quoted 3-5 days turnaround, so this surprised me. A big plus for Canon. I'm sure Nikon does the same for their members as well.

I contacted the regional Canon rep to have her pass on my thanks to CPS for a job well done. Hopefully others have had the same experience that I have had with CPS. I've sent my 5D, 70-200 and 24-105 back at various times for cleaning and calibration, and each time they did a thorough job. I'm bumping up to Gold because of this service.
