10. Get a digital camera
9. Learn how to crop in Photoshop
8. Get a better digital camera (cause that's what's really holding you back).
7. Get a zoom lens that goes from 28mm-500mm... or just put your 17mm-85mm kit lens on a mono-pod... it'll look the same and you're cropping out 70% of the image anyway.
6. Create a cool watermark
5. Join a car forum, post pictures, and believe the praise of the wankers ON the car forum
4. Put five hundred photos all shot from one race and at one corner on Flickr.
3. Find a buddy with a blog web site that talks about his buddy's cars (since he probably doesn't have a license yet).
2. Get a photo pass
1. Give photos away to get your name out there.

I need to create a cool watermark.

You have a link to that 28-500? I'm tired of carrying more than one lens.

Wait a year or two for the 24-800 2.8 AGS (atomic gyroscopic stabilization) to come out. Sure it's expensive, but your back won't mind a bit.

If you upload you images to your editors as you download them to your computer, you don't even need CS5.

Maybe I can just send my camera out by Fedex and remotely control it via a web interface. Brings new meaning to Live View.
