Seems quiet here on the APN board....not a creature was stirring not even a pixel?

In the interest of fostering sharing of good photos and discussion, what is your favorite static shot from your work in 2010?

This is my favorite, a shot of a nice new Porsche 911 turbo. Also quite a lot of fun to drive. Shot with a Nikon D80 and a Sigma 10-20mm EX lens on 20mm. No flash.

The location is an industrial building near my home here in Milton Ontario. It is my favorite backdrop due to the mixture of textures and the right amount of grungy dirt. I have likely used the building too much in the last few years! The day was crappy and cold and raining but it made for good photos!

Interested to see your shots and why they are your favorite. Any helpful tips?

Happy holidays and a happy and healthy New Year to all of you!

My favorites always seem to be the more recent ones I've shot. Here's mine for this year, took a month ago or so. Leica M9, 28mm, at F8 I believe, 2 second shutter if I remember? The light was perfect, I tweaked the white balance a tad, and put a bit more contrast overall, and then it was perfect :)

I did very little shooting this year (not a single motorsports event), but this one would be my favorite shot from the year:

It was really the only photo shoot that I did before starting to travel for work (Yes, I actually left California). Shot on the North side of the Golden Gate Bridge. I was actually shocked I was able to get the car owners to drive into the muddy parking lot for photos, but I guess driving the afternoon in the rain opened them up to getting things dirty. One of these days I need to get back here with the light on the correct side of the bridge, but for some reason I can't convince many owners to get up before dawn to drive to a muddy parking lot (with the chance for a totally fogged-in bridge).

Well seeing that I never do any Static Shots, here is my first attempt on my own car, no loss only gain.

I guess car shows count. This one was mounted on the ceiling at the NAIAS in Detroit.
