Is anybody else on 500px? It's a recent site that's kind of like flickr, but with a low image posting limit and therefore much higher quality control. It's geared as a showcase for professional and serious hobbyist photographers rather than as a repository for everything like flickr.

I have an account, but frankly I think the interface is cumbersome... and not very well thought out. The attempt at minimalistic design is valiant... but weak. I've seen better free tumblr templates.

I looked when Max first posted this thread and wasn't impressed. It was just suggested to me again so I had another look. I like the fact that it is based in Toronto (local to me) but I'm not overly enamored with the site.
