Here are a few from Petit Le Mans. Seeing responses from JT's post, it seems the blurs invite the most comments. So, I'll start with a few of those (min 1/200th, max 1/8th).
1. Winning LMP2 RS Spyder between T1 and T2

Boy... if I could only pan like that! (I've always been amazed just how "smooth" your images look)
I really love the R10 shot, such a different angle... especially when paired with motion. The Aston shot (#5) is the same way... spectacular! I really like the background in #3 (I've never seen the rear angle of the front-wheel pod on that car before, it's kinda funky looking), and the lack of background in #4. The slow night stuff is great too... the wide shot of the RS Spyder (#8) is kinda abstract, but very cool.
Extremely well done!

All of the shots are VERY well done.:)
But the #2 shot, of the R10..... is simply fantastic!
I've never seen anything like it. It's wonderful. Good Job!

Spectacular. I've always liked your slow shutter stuff that's put out on Flying Lizard's site.
My favorite? 2, 5 or 6. Really hard to choose.

I am ALL OVER #7. That shot has everything... great color, great composition and perfect "into the night" drama.
I have to tell you, I felt that car was SO disappointing graphically... the livery is flat out BORING... you've made it scream.
So I guess you screwed us all on the Creation shot. LOL

I call that shooting technique "Lefebure on the Cheap". I paid close attention to where the other photogs were popping their flashes on the approach to 7. Then, I set my camera to 1/8th at f4 and repositioned myself so that the location of the car (relative to me) that I liked best approximated the position of the car that other photogs up-track were shooting. Sometimes I benefitted from the flash of another's camera; sometimes I didn't. The flash gave iridescence to the color each time I got lucky.
However, even when my shutter wasn't open during someone else's flash, some of the results were nice. This one was shot earlier in the post-sunset period. 1/80th at f4.

You are correct, however; I did, in fact, totally screw you on the Creation shot.

Todd/Chris/Dennis, the only thing I'd have preferred on the Audi/T3 shot is if the lower left "Audi TDI Power" (on rear bodywork) had been my "in-focus" point. But, I'll take what I can get, and I'll consider myself lucky that I got anything in focus.
FWIW, that location, given the way I chose to approach it, required the deepest concentration of any location I shot during the race. Had I not been really "on", it would have been a complete waste of my time.

"Lefebure on the Cheap"............... not a concept that many of his clients understand or experience :D
Seriously though, Bob, really nice pan work..........makes me wish I had been fighting with the fire ants and red Georgia clay...........well maybe someday.
