Might be shooting this car for a job, so please throw what you got at me! I'm just using this photo to send to the editor so they have an idea of what the car looks like.

I see the trash dumpsters first! Anything like that shot with less DOF?

I'm seeing a hood... not a car. I don't think this shot shows of any details of the car very well. And I too am not enthusiastic about the dumpsters.

Dumpsters and a not so interesting location, but I do like the ground (no lines, oil stains, etc. to be distracted with). I agree with JT about "too much hood"... while I don't think you need to be laying on the ground (the "too low" look is overdone, IMO), and shouldn't be standing upright, something in between would be nice. The car has lines... show them off a bit more. While it took some time to setup... you could put more thought into the photographic nature of the photo (DOF is a great example).
I look at this from a front 3/4 angle and see "just another VW" (it is a VW right?)... but a side shot, showing off the profile... would do more for me. It makes it stand-out a bit more from the "normal" cars I see every day on the road (you know the hoodROOFtrunk _-----_ profile).
On the good side... nice exposure, good color saturation. Watch the reflections a little (especially the one on the top of the car towards the rear, as it breaks-up the roof line quite a bit and it's hard to tell where the car stops).
