Manufacturer Licensing?

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about automotive image licensing for use in books or calendars? I'm not sure if you have to get permission from the manufacturers to sell the photo's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you need some sort of permission from the sanctioning bodies in the form of a percentage of sales and/or yearly licensing fee (if I recall).

I don't think he's talking about motorsports. He's just asking if you take a picture of a Ferrari, do you need to get Ferrari's permission to sell the photo for books, calendars, etc.
