I took my soon-to-be 3 year old son out to his first trip to the race track. We journeyed over to Barber Motorsports Park, about a 2.5 hour drive from home to see the Historic Sports Cars last Saturday. It was also my first trip to Barber, and I was very impressed. The spectator site lines, and the facility overall was great.
He immensely enjoyed it. I was a little worried since he had shown some aversion to loud noise before (we had tried to watch the Blue Angels from my office building back in the spring) but he was very much into the day.
