Some of you already know that I was recently published for the first time. While I'm still pretty pumped about it, I have come across my first dilemma:
One of the photos in the article is mine, but was credited to someone else. I know it is mine. Unless by some freak chance this guy got the same photo at the exact same time as me. Entirely possible, but honestly, from that location, and my memories of that weekend, very unlikely. I know it is mine. I have the original on my PC and it matches exactly.
So, what should I do? To be honest I really am not all that concerned about credit, but I would like to get paid for it, it is a 1/3 of a full page photo. Should I contact the editor? Let it go? Wait and see if I get paid for it despite the miscredit? Help!!
