Posting a Photo

Hi everyone, I just joined this group and wanted to enter a photo in the monthly assignment. I am having trouble figuring out how to insert a picture in the posting. It appears there are two ways to do it, one is to purchase some space on this website the other is to link the photo to your own web site. I have a website so I was planning on using it but I could use some pointers on how to do it. I did a seach of this website but did not find anything that addressed this.

i link from a website but not my own, i use flickr but anyway.
-when you click on the photo on your site highlight the url and copy it.
-then when you have the thread or post open there will be a icon that has a Mt. and sun (next to the letter)
-hit that and a window will pop open, then just paste the url into that window and hit ok

and you are all set :)
