Ok, lets give this new uploader a try. here a re a couple from the ALMS race in Houston and one from the recent Historics in Seattle. Any thoughts?

The b/w image from the Historics is a real "throw-back" type of image. I like it a lot. Glowing brake rotors are always a hit. This one really looks like a "daytime" type of thing, too, which is more interesting.

I was tying to achieve that look w/ adding a little grain after the conversion to give it a period feel.
The Corvette was shot at night but the venue was well lit since they were sharing it w/ Champ Car the next night.

I'm not a groupie, am I? I thought I was just a lost American following around someone who spoke the language... and just so happened to have great photo ideas. Once I got back in the States I was fine on my own... then again, the next weekend at Sears Point I did end-up at turn 10 with Jimmy. OH MY... I AM A GROUPIE! :eek:
