Today I made it official... I'm buying a condo!

It is currently under construction, so I won't be moving until next summer, but it is all mine (and the bank's). 1 bedroom and a loft, large living/dining room, 18' ceilings, wall of Northern facing windows, two balconies, top story, reserved parking, close proximity to BART, and much more. Still mostly virtual at this point, but I just had to share:

I'm going to set-up the loft as my office, and keep the living/dining room area semi-clear for when I need a studio (the wall of windows and the high ceilings will be great). For now my furniture situation will be quite limited (so far it is a beanbag chair), but eventually I'd like to get it all 'pimped-out'. The hardest part is going to be waiting until it is finished being built!

That's really pretty cool. Welcome to dwelling ownership. For those semi-familiar with the area (three trips to the bay area) where is it?

Dublin, Ca. Near the intersection of I580 and I680. A block (or two) from the BART station, so I can ride into the city... or even to SFO and fly anywhere in the world (not that I ever leave California).

~55 miles from Sears Point
~100 miles from Laguna Seca

12 miles from work, which is really nice... all reverse commute as well!

Looks good! Only thing is, looks like it has two kitchens - is that really necessary..?
