I know JT and myself are making the annual trek to Cobo Hall next week (although his trek is significantly shorter than mine), and was wondering who else was going? Might be a good time to meet one another, and catch a free beer at the the Firehouse :) Hope to see some of you there.

I'll be there. Anyone on these boards have a media pass?
a couple of my friends do and are rubbing it in my face lol

I might go once the show opens for us mere mortals. I went a few years ago and loved it. Ever since, the Columbus autoshow has paled in comparison.

lol, yeah we'll be there during the press days. Don't be fooled though, this isn't a leisurely stroll through some cars. Press days in Detroit are as hectic as can be. it's 12 - 13 hour days of work work work and running around.

I'll be there for the press days. Zerin's right: shooting a race weekend is less work than these things. It's non-stop running around and very crowded.

and i'm sure the free hor'dvours (sp?) and alcohol really make it a lot harder than running around outside in 100 degree heat on a race weekend :D

Oh, that makes it especially hard! ;) I do welcome the cooler temperatures, though.

free booze at the firehouse got the best of me tonight, i'm going to be hurting in the AM. Eric Rittenauer from DCX pours some mean drinks.
