1) I love the symmetry of VW bus... just wish the logo was sharper.
2) Great light... it really makes the color pop.
3) The shot is too static for me. The background is also a bit distraction (ugly truck).
4) My favorite shot of the bunch. The center composition is a bit weak though... maybe trying something off-center would give it more "pop"
5) I like the tight shot... and the wheelie... but the bike isn't as sharp as I'd like.
6) I don't really know what the subject is... the shifter is nice, but kinda band to me. The wheel would be nice, but the glare distracts me.
7) I like the shot... nice angle and perspective. The horizon looks a little tilted, but it may be me.
8) Nice exposure... cool flames... the owner would like it, but it doesn't really stand-out to me. Maybe if you included more of the engine compartment?
9) Nice action, I'd like to see more of the cars maybe? I kinda get the feeling that the first car is being cut-off.

-Todd...

I'd say if you're looking for a critique more than "nice shots" you should limit the number of shots to one or two. Not that I don't like to see shots, it's hard to go into great depth on any one shot when there are so many to do.

Mike... don't take this the wrong way, but the feeling these images left me with is that you're trying to stylize shots... but not sure why you're doing what you're doing. If that makes sense.

I agree with Todd's assessment of the drag racing and bike images... nothing necessarily wrong... but, nothing real edgy either.

The wheel, the fender/flames, etc... the nose of the Lotus... just don't make any kind of a statement to me. In fact, the Lotus is such a beautiful car, this shot dosesn't do it justice. But again, to Todd's point... I don't get a message of what you want me to see or look at.

The VW shot is cool.... very cool composition. Lighting could have brought a lot more interest to it, though.

Good point regarding Critique... one or two images will get you much better feedback with greater detailed discussion.
