Other than the fact that i LOVE your car, I wish the BG behind the car had less going on. the power lines, the ugly trees and the brush off behind the driver side are all very distracting.

I DO like the brick building to the side of the car.

Hey man! Nice car, but to be honest, It looks a bit parked. (like it wasent your car and you took the picture just passing.) I dont like the horisont angle but other than that its not that bad.

How about these shots? Anything you would do different?

I see what you mean about being parked. Would you have placed the car different? Maybe not so parallel to the wall? Thanks for the comments.

I like that last shot the best. I'm not a fan of that background in that second image; it's just too messy and detracts from the car, IMO. Put the sun visor up (picture 3). I think you have a tendency to want to park too close to your background.

Nice car! I look forward to seeing more.

Though the backgrounds are bad in all three... third not so bad.. but not very inpressive, you should pull the car away in any case.

Is there a certain type of background that would look nice. (like dark colors, brick or something like that)

I plan on doing another shoot this weekend b/c I just finished my major detail for the spring. It is shiny!!

-Less busy background
-less reflections
-try more angles (like the back of the car and detail shots)
-Pull car away from background
-Try some DOF
-watch out for little details (license plates, sun visors, etc.)
-Try some nature backgrounds maybe

still love the car though

Hey again Clint! like curtis I think you should try more angles.
In pic #2 the location is interesting but you are too close to it and include it too much i think. Try walking back with a longer lens, like a 200mm.
In picture #3 the location is a bit strange. But you really have nice lighting on the front rim and it really looks good. Try maybe a not so extreme wheel angle. The paint looks a bit weird, like it was outburned and fixed in photoshop?
Im pretty new to static shots myself, and I really advise everyone like me to read Matt's tutorial on car photography: check it out: http://www.mattwatkinson.com/tutorial/
Maybe you should try some late afternoon / nightshots, a white car should be pretty easy to shoot, since, it is, white. Keep it up!

One more thing, it would be cool to see this car in a doc(like a shipping doc) type location. A kinda Freshly imported honda location concept, with some red containers in the background. Sorry for my 1337 english =D
Here is also some shots of a white s2000 by Easton Chang: http://forums.dieselstation.com/index.php?showtopic=20908

Thanks for the awesome info and tips. The tutorial by Matt Watkinson is very good.

Easton Chang is an excellent photographer and I love the rolling shots of the s2000 he did.
I will post up more photos soon to get more comments from you guy's.

Thanks again
