JT's website is the best (IMHO) website for the 'narrow focus' of automotive photography...and I am not saying at all that is a bad thing. Instead of having to search various other forums (we all know which ones they are) that cater to either sports photography, photography in general, or specific camera forums (i.e. Canon) to discuss automotive photography, there is APN....and as you can probably tell, I am addicted to this forum/website as I wealth of knowledge....
Ahem, with that said, just curious, what are the areas of photography the members here dabble in? Be it for their business scope or just as a hobby? I know I could search each members bio and see, but hey, I am lazy and wanted to start another thread for my post count JT!
Since I am starting this annoying thread, I will begin:
Obviously sportscar racing is one area...but others include:
1. Family (with three kids under the age of 11, keeps me busy!)
2. Animal-pet dog
3. Golf Course
4. Coastal Lighthouses
5. Youth Sports

Would love to get into NFL and NCAA Football....just once....

I've done a lot of high school/junior high school sports (and some other events like choral concerts) over the past 9 months. By volume, it far outpaces what I have done in motorsports since September.
I have two boys under 4, and I shoot a lot of them as well.
I might dip a toe into weddings this year...I have a day job and would love to come up with enough business to not have a day job.

Motorsports is still the vast majority of my shooting though.

Nice shot...I live on a lake and have started to take shots of the geese and ducks....Pretty fun stuff, ....geting geese in flight in the 'V' formation at sunset is pretty cool as well.....

I'll shoot anything!
I love portraiture and fashion photography. I've shot recreationally anything from wildlife to baseball. My main pursuits outside of automotive photography are trying to break into the commercial market and building up my studio stuff, collecting strobe by strobe. My advertising design class has me doing a variety of work so I've done some product shots for that.

Pro baseball? I checked your website and couldnt see any.....Here in Evansville (home of the 3rd oldest running baseball stadium and home to the movie Leage of their Own...and home to Don Mattingly!) we have the Evansville Otters....a Pioneer League team.....Have been given permission to shoot games and sell pictures....so looking for others work....

Horses - mainly portraiture - http://www.whimwham.com (must update site - haven't had time with the amount of bike work)
That's it. I used to do surf stuff but again time. When I'm not working I don't pick up my gear. Sanity must prevail.
Plus I don't want the aggro of itemising shooting for "pleasure" or "business", thus all my gear is for work, no hobby.
Also, I never started out as a hobbyist photographer.

My photography started off with Skiing, a couple ski shots of mine have been published, but nothing big.
(very poor velvia scans)

I love the outdoors so, I'm a big fan of landscapes and I'll even shoot an animal or two if they get in the way.

For me, it's pretty much just cars, and landscapes/sunsets. I do break out the film for landscapes sometime, not much 35mm though, 4x6cm and hopefully soon I'll pick up a 4x5in camera for black and whites. Usually it's digital though, as I don't usually have much time to do things with film.
Here are some recent landscapes:
