Yet another Model Release question...

Do I need a model release to put a photo of a car on track as a background on a business card?

I've seen it done many times before, but it would fall under advertising, so I would need one, no?:confused:

Yes. That would be commercial usage (promotion of a product or service) and if any part of the car is identifiable as someone's property, then you need a release.

Now if you had a silhouette of a car that was neither identifiable as a specific vehicle or specific make and model of a vehicle that (in my opinion) does not need a release.
