Default Rolex Series at Homestead-Miami

Hard to put into words the overall underwhelming experience shooting this race was. The track, the cars... hell, even the light... it's the "drive through" version of sports car racing. I like the GT class... but the prototypes are like warmed up leftovers... sure, it's racing.... but it sure doesn't leave you wanting to come back for more. And, the cautions... don't get me started!!!

So... whilst holding down the button, a few pretty pictures showed up on the CF cards.

John, I agree. The "prototypes" don't have the spark to catch me as a fan. I never could get into watching a Rolex Series race like I could an ALMS race. You made the best with what you had though. Good stuff.

As always - I am inspired by the pans - great display of movement...

Also Great PJ portrait.

Sorry, I was going between 2 or 3 forums, and the P.J. was meant to reference a photojournalistic portrait...

Number one does it for me. Brilliant work there.

As far as Grand Am goes, there is no point. The GT racing has been very fun to watch, but that's as far as it goes. This year there doesn't seem to be any GT-only races. I won't be watching until I see a GT-only race. The cameras love to follow the DP's only and that's annoying.
